Strawberry milk

🍓 Classic Homemade Strawberry Milk

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (washed, hulled, chopped)

  • 2–3 tbsp sugar (or to taste)

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based: oat, soy, almond, etc.)

  • Optional: 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Cook the strawberries: In a small pot, combine strawberries and sugar. Simmer over low heat for 5–7 minutes until soft and syrupy.

  2. Blend: Let cool slightly, then blend into a smooth puree.

  3. Strain (optional): For smoother milk, strain out seeds.

  4. Mix: Add the puree to cold milk. Stir or blend.

  5. Chill and serve: Serve cold over ice or refrigerate for 30 mins.

🍓 Quick Raw Version (No Cooking)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk (any kind)

  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries

  • 1–2 tbsp maple syrup, agave, or sugar

  • Optional: pinch of salt, vanilla

Instructions:

  1. Add everything to a blender.

  2. Blend until smooth and frothy.

  3. Strain if you want a smoother texture.

  4. Serve cold!

💡 Tips:

  • For a vegan version, oat milk or soy milk works best for creaminess.

  • Add chia seeds for a “strawberry milk chia pudding” twist.

  • Freeze the strawberry syrup into ice cubes to chill your milk without diluting it!
