Spiced beer nuts

Here’s a delicious recipe for spiced beer nuts—perfectly crunchy, sweet-salty, and a little spicy. Great for serving with a cold beer or giving as a homemade snack gift!

🍺🔥 Spiced Beer Nuts Recipe

📝 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups mixed nuts (e.g. almonds, cashews, peanuts, walnuts)

  • 1 egg white

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin

  • 1/2 tsp chili powder or cayenne (adjust to taste)

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • Optional: pinch of cinnamon or black pepper for warmth

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 150°C (300°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Whisk the egg white in a large bowl until frothy.

  3. Add the brown sugar, honey/maple syrup, and spices. Mix well.

  4. Add the nuts and toss until fully coated.

  5. Spread the nuts in a single layer on the baking sheet.

  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
Nuts should look dry and golden—not burnt.

  7. Let them cool completely on the tray—they’ll crisp up as they cool.

🍻 Serving Tips:

  • Serve in small bowls alongside cold beer.

  • Store in an airtight jar for up to 2 weeks.

  • Delicious with IPAs, amber ales, or stouts.
