Mint tea

🌿 Mint Tea

Mint tea is a refreshing herbal infusion made by steeping fresh or dried mint leaves in hot water. It can be enjoyed hot or iced, with or without sweetener.

Benefits

  • 🌱 Refreshing and soothing — especially after meals
  • 🫖 Caffeine-free when made solely with mint
  • 🍃 May help ease mild indigestion and bloating
  • 😌 Can feel relaxing and calming
  • 💧 Contributes to your daily fluid intake
  • 🌬️ Menthol gives a naturally cool, fresh sensation

Simple recipe

  1. Put 10–15 fresh mint leaves (or 1–2 teaspoons dried mint) in a cup.
  2. Pour over 250 ml hot water.
  3. Steep for 5–10 minutes.
  4. Strain.
  5. Add honey, lemon, or nothing according to taste.

Lebanese-style: Fresh mint + hot water + a little honey makes a lovely simple drink. You can also combine mint with green tea for a more traditional tea blend—but that version contains caffeine.
