❤️ Jesus cares about you.
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)
Jesus cares about your heart, your pain, your fears, your unanswered questions, and the burdens you carry when nobody else sees them.
You don't have to pretend to be strong before you come to Him. You don't have to find the perfect words to pray. You can come to Him tired, confused, disappointed, afraid, or simply unable to explain what you're feeling.
Look at how Jesus treated people in the Gospels:
❤️ When people were suffering, He showed compassion. (Matthew 14:14)
😢 When Martha and Mary were grieving, Jesus wept with them. (John 11:33–35)
🕊️ When people were weary and burdened, He invited them to come to Him. (Matthew 11:28)
🐑 When people felt lost, He described Himself as the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for His sheep. (John 10:11)
✝️ When humanity was lost in sin, God demonstrated His love through Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:8)
And remember these words of Jesus:
“Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” — Luke 12:32 (KJV)
A little prayer for you 🙏
Lord Jesus, thank You for caring even when I struggle to understand what is happening in my life. Help me remember that I can bring You my worries, my sadness, my questions, and my hopes. Teach me to trust You one day at a time. When I feel overwhelmed, remind me of Your words and help me receive Your peace. Let me know Your love more deeply. Amen.
One thing to hold on to today: Your suffering does not mean that Jesus has stopped caring. The cross is at the very heart of the Christian proclamation of His love.
“I have loved thee with an everlasting love.” — Jeremiah 31:3 (KJV)
❤️ You can come to Jesus exactly as you are.
