“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
— John 3:16 (KJV) ✝️❤️
God so loved the world. Not a perfect world. Not a world that had earned His love. A broken world, full of suffering, sin, fear, and people who sometimes feel forgotten.
He loved us first. He gave us Jesus.
Jesus came to save, not to condemn; to seek the lost, to heal the brokenhearted, and to bring us back to the Father.
And the promise continues in the very next verse:
“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” — John 3:17
❤️ You are not beyond the reach of God's love. The cross is the Christian message that God's love reaches into the very depths of our brokenness and offers us salvation through Jesus Christ.
“We love him, because he first loved us.” — 1 John 4:19 🙏
