God is your friend. Not merely someone distant whom you pray to, but someone you can turn to in honesty, bring your worries to, and walk with through ordinary life.
Jesus says in John 15:15:
“I have called you friends.” — John 15:15 (KJV)
And in John 15:13, He speaks of the greatest love: laying down one's life for one's friends.
You don't have to impress God, pretend to be stronger than you are, or find perfect words. You can speak to Him openly, listen in prayer, read His Word, and seek to follow Him one step at a time.
Friendship with God is not about never struggling; it's about living in relationship with Him through the struggles, too. ❤️
