God is a refuge in times of trouble

God Is a Refuge in Times of Trouble 🕊️

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

— Psalm 46:1 (KJV)

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Troubles come, hearts grow weary, and we may not know where to turn. But God invites us to come to Him—not because we have everything figured out, but because He is our refuge.

A refuge is a place of safety when the storm is raging. It is somewhere we can run when the world feels too heavy to bear.

God does not promise that we will never experience hardship. He promises that we do not have to face it alone.

When fear fills your heart, run to Him.
When sorrow weighs you down, rest in Him.
When you have no strength left, lean on Him.
When you cannot see the way forward, trust Him one step at a time.

You don't need perfect words to pray. Sometimes, a simple “Jesus, help me” is enough to begin.

🙏 A prayer for difficult times

Heavenly Father, thank You for being my refuge when trouble comes. When I feel afraid, remind me of Your presence. When I feel weak, be my strength. When my heart is troubled, give me Your peace. Help me trust You even when I cannot understand what is happening. Shelter me in Your love and guide me through every storm. In Jesus' name, Amen.

❤️ Remember: The storm may be real, but so is God's faithfulness. You can take refuge in Him today, one moment at a time.

“The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.” — Proverbs 18:10 (KJV)
