God is compassionate

God Is Compassionate ❤️

“The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.”

— Psalm 145:8 (KJV)

God is not indifferent to your suffering. He sees your tears, understands your weaknesses, and knows the burdens you carry, even those you cannot explain to anyone else.

Throughout the Bible, we see a God who draws near to the brokenhearted, welcomes the repentant, forgives sinners, and shows mercy to those who call upon Him.

Look at Jesus. He touched the leper, wept with those who mourned, welcomed sinners, and had compassion on the crowds. In Jesus, we see the compassionate heart of God.

📖 A few beautiful verses to remember:

  • Lamentations 3:22–23 — God's mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning.

  • Psalm 103:13 — As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.

  • Matthew 9:36 — Jesus had compassion on the crowds.

  • Ephesians 2:4–5 — God is rich in mercy and great in love.

  • Hebrews 4:15–16 — Jesus understands our weaknesses, and we may approach God's throne of grace with confidence.

🙏 A little prayer

Father, thank You for Your compassion. Thank You that I do not have to hide my pain or pretend to be strong before You. Teach me to trust Your mercy, especially when life is difficult and I cannot understand what You are doing. Let me rest in the love of Jesus Christ, who knows my weaknesses and invites me to draw near. Amen.

Remember: God's compassion is not reserved for your best days. You can come to Him just as you are, even on your hardest days. 🕊️
