For most healthy adults, up to about 3–4 cups of brewed coffee per day is generally considered within the usual safe caffeine limit of 400 mg/day.
But you don't need that much. A practical range is:
- ☕ 0–1 cup/day: low caffeine
- ☕☕ 1–2 cups/day: moderate
- ☕☕☕ 3 cups/day: fairly high for caffeine-sensitive people
- ☕☕☕☕ 4 cups/day: around the usual upper limit, depending on coffee strength
