Here’s a simple and delicious lemon cake idea, plus a few twists depending on what you want:
Classic Lemon Cake
Ingredients:

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup sugar

2 large eggs
-
½ cup milk
-
Zest of 2 lemons

2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan.

Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.

In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.

Mix in lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla.

Alternate adding flour mixture and milk to the wet mixture, starting and ending with flour.
