Here’s a list of popcorn recipes, ranging from sweet to savory, simple to gourmet. Popcorn is super versatile and perfect for snacks, parties, or movie nights 🍿.


1. Classic Butter & Salt

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup popcorn kernels

  • 2–3 tbsp butter

  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Pop the kernels (stovetop or air popper).

  2. Melt butter and drizzle over popcorn.

  3. Sprinkle salt and toss.


2. Caramel Popcorn

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup popcorn kernels

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp corn syrup or honey

  • ¼ tsp baking soda

  • Pinch of salt

Method:

  1. Pop the kernels.

  2. In a saucepan, melt butter, sugar, and syrup → boil for 4–5 min.

  3. Remove from heat, add baking soda and salt → pour over popcorn and toss.

  4. Bake at 120°C (250°F) for 15–20 min for extra crunch.


3. Cheesy Popcorn

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup popcorn kernels

  • 3 tbsp melted butter

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan or cheddar powder

  • Optional: paprika, garlic powder

Method:

  1. Pop the kernels.

  2. Drizzle butter and toss with cheese & spices.


4. Spicy Chili-Lime Popcorn

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup popcorn kernels

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • Zest of 1 lime

  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Pop the kernels.

  2. Toss with oil, chili, lime zest, and salt.


5. Chocolate Drizzle Popcorn

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup popcorn kernels

  • ½ cup dark or milk chocolate chips

  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Method:

  1. Pop the kernels.

  2. Melt chocolate + coconut oil.

  3. Drizzle over popcorn and let cool until set.


6. Herbed Garlic Popcorn

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup popcorn kernels

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary

  • Salt

Method:

  1. Pop the kernels.

  2. Toss with olive oil, garlic, herbs, and salt.
