⏱ 15-Minute One-Pan Beef with Mushrooms & Rice

Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 200 g (7 oz) thinly sliced beef

  • 100 g (3.5 oz) mushrooms, sliced

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup pre-cooked or quick-cook rice

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp water or beef broth

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Optional: green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook beef:

    • Heat oil in a large pan over high heat.

    • Stir-fry beef 2–3 minutes until just browned. Remove and set aside.

  2. Cook veggies:

    • In the same pan, sauté onions 1 minute.

    • Add garlic and mushrooms, cook 2–3 minutes until soft.

  3. Combine rice & beef:

    • Add pre-cooked rice to the pan, stir to mix.

    • Return beef, add soy sauce and 1 tbsp water/broth.

    • Stir-fry 2–3 minutes until everything is heated through and coated in sauce.

  4. Serve:

    • Adjust salt & pepper.

    • Garnish with green onions if desired.
