Ingredients (serves 2)

300 g (10 oz) beef, thinly sliced

150 g (5 oz) mushrooms, sliced

1 small onion, sliced

2 garlic cloves, minced

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp cornstarch
-
2 tbsp water or beef broth

2 tbsp vegetable oil

Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions

Prep beef:

Toss beef with 1 tsp soy sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of pepper.

Cook beef quickly:

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over high heat.

Stir-fry beef 2–3 minutes until just browned. Remove and set aside.
