Apple salad

 Here’s a simple and delicious apple salad idea you can make quickly:

Ingredients (for 2–3 servings):

  • 2 medium apples (any variety, like Gala or Honeycrisp), diced

  • 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped

  • 1/4 cup raisins or dried cranberries

  • 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped (optional, for crunch)

  • 2–3 tbsp Greek yogurt or mayonnaise (for creaminess)

  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

  • A pinch of cinnamon (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh lemon juice (1 tsp) to prevent apples from browning

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, toss the diced apples with lemon juice.

  2. Add walnuts, raisins, and celery.

  3. In a small separate bowl, mix yogurt (or mayo) with honey, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.

  4. Pour the dressing over the apple mixture and gently toss until everything is coated.

  5. Chill for 10–15 minutes if desired, then serve.
