 Here’s how @mention works across different platforms:

🔹 Social Media

  • Twitter/X: @username tags someone, links to their profile, and notifies them. Example: “Thanks @rita for the idea!”

  • Instagram: Mentioning @friend in a comment/post notifies them and links their profile.

  • Facebook: Typing @Name tags friends or pages in posts and comments.

🔹 Messaging & Collaboration Tools

  • Slack / Microsoft Teams / Discord:
